Wii Games Win Race to Bargain Bin
Gamers looking for games at cut-rate prices are apparently better off owning a Wii. According to Electronic Entertainment Design and Research, Wii games are far more likely to wind up in the bargain bin than games made for the Xbox 360 or PS3. Why? Probably because there are so many garbage games like Game Party 2 out there. The amount of shovelware for the Wii is horrific. The console has become a dumping ground for cheap "casual game" collections publishers are attempting to foist on the public. The Wii needs more quality games like De Blob and Call of Duty: World at War, and far less of everything else, but at least you know if you just wait a few weeks, you can buy those bad games cheap and give them to friends you don't like all that much.

I have to agree. As great as the top 10 Wii game titles are, the bottom 90% are pretty bad! Still plenty of great ones though. Okami, Wii Fit, Rock Band for Wii.
I think so, but I love Wii because I like to play both game and exercise.
Wii is the industry’s biggest disappointment from a gamer’s perspective. It does give us a glimpse of amazing virtual gaming to come, but it is garbage. Brilliant marketiing; crappy product. Please stop buying this schwag so they’ll stop insulting us by making it.
I think many Wii games are disappointing, but I don’t think that’s true of the Wii itself. It’s an awesome platform that is underserved by publishers who consider the 360 and PS3 the “real” game consoles and the Wii a toy for kids and grandmas. But that’s not the fault of the console. It’s simply that developers, faced with the choice of making games the traditional way with really nice graphics or of being innovative and thinking outside the box will go for traditional and pretty. The Wii has less processing power than the other consoles, but some of the greatest games ever made were on the PS2 and Dreamcast, so great games can easily be made for the Wii if developers will simply commit to doing that.
As another owner of all three current systemes, I have to agree that the Wii is the most needful of good exclusives. However, games like No More Heroes have given me some hope, if little.
