Definition: The Microsoft Xbox is a home game console released in late 2001, and is an advanced entertainment system that allows you to play video games on your home TV. The Xbox is one of three primary home console systems competing in the 2005 game market, along with the Sony Playstation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube.
