Eidos has confirmed that Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut is coming to the Wii U, and while it's hard to get excited about a port of a two-year-old game, the developers say this version will improve over the original in many ways. The game's criticized boss battles will feature more choice in how you win, the graphics will be improved, based in part on work done for the Missing Link DLC, and the game will include director's commentary. All DLC will be included in the game, but it will be integrated into the main game.
They also have a lot of ideas about the Wii U gamepad, which will act as a "neural hub" which can be used to organize your augmentations, check enemy stats, display a map you can notate, and more.
No release date has been announced, although Amazon.com recently listed and then delisted the game for May 7.
