Gamers have been furious at Ubisoft's decision to withhold the completed Wii U Rayman Legends for seven months so it can be released alongside versions for other platforms. They're not the only ones; the games design team, Ubisoft Montpellier, has posed for pictures demanding the game's release.
The pictures show Ubisoft Montpellier members, including Rayman creator Michel Ancel, holding a sign that says, in French, "Release Rayman, Support Ubisoft Montpellier," with a tearful Rayman surrounded by protesters.
While an anonymous RL developer posted complaints about the delay last week, this is a far more public and unified protest. If Ubisoft has any sense they will do a turnaround and offer an apology, but if they had any sense then none of this would have happened to begin with.
