This seems like such an utterly useless offer that one wonders why Ubisoft is even bothering. If you're going to tell Wii U owners you don't care about them, why then make a gesture that in no way says otherwise?
As one commenter notes, they'll probably later announce that the demo has been delayed so it can be released on all platforms.
