A year and a half ago, a gamer lobbying group called Operation Rainfall started a campaign urging the North American releases of three Japanese role playing games. Two of them, Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story, arrived in NA in 2012, and now XSEED has announced that they will bring Pandora's Tower to the Wii this spring.
With all attention shifted to Nintendo's new Wii U, and with Pandora's Tower receiving mixed reviews, this could be seen as a bit of a gamble for XSEED, but the publisher did well bringing The Last Story here, and between millions of Wii owners and the Wii U's backward compatibility there's a good chance the company can make a profit. Will any other long-withheld Wii games make it to North America? I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
