Digital Foundry has posted a detailed comparison of Mass Effect 3. They get into graphics and frame rates and all that good stuff. Their basic conclusion is that the Wii U version is somewhat weaker technically than the 360 version but notably stronger than the PS3 version, which they seem to have a pretty low opinion of. It's an interesting analysis, but my personal response after watching the comparison videos is, they all look really good. I don't see anything objectionable in any version. And since I'm not graphics obsessed, the differences seem meaningless to me. Digital Foundry does editorialize that they find it "somewhat disappointing to see a vintage 2005 console with slower GPU and less RAM match and indeed ... new Nintendo hardware," but they also acknowledge that Wii U graphics are likely to improve as developers dig into the system. Of course, Nintendo's stated focus is on gameplay, not graphics, and I'm sure they would insist that the gameplay makes ME3 more fun to play on their console. That, I suspect, will be a topic of much debate.
