In an interview with Industry Gamers EA Games label head Frank Gibeau had a few things of interest to say about Nintendo. Categorizing the Wii as a "legacy console" like the PS2, Gibeau said of Nintendo, "They're not stupid. They're going to figure something out. They're going to come back at it." He predicted that Nintendo will be "coming back with a second act."
The question is, does Gibeau know anything, or is he simply saying what he hopes will happen? With all the talk of a possible Wii 2, it might just seem like a good time for publishers to attempt to shape the future of the console with well-placed interviews.
