In an interview with IGN, Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo America, has explained why Nintendo hasn't been delivering much in the way of Wii games of late. Unsurprisingly, it's because Nintendo is so focused on the launch of the 3DS. He says some new Wii content will be revealed before gaming convention E3 in June, with more to be shown then.
This lack of news of upcoming Wii games, besides the highly anticipated Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, has lead some people to predict that Nintendo is shutting down Wii game production in favor of working on the launch of Wii 2, which some believe will be announced at E3. We shall see.
