When Nintendo introduced the Wii it introduced gaming to new demographics. For example, it was the first game console embraced by the elderly; many senior centers have Wii bowling tournaments. Now, an 85-year old man, John Bates, has made it into the Guinness Book of World Records (Gamer's Edition) for Wii bowling almost 3,000 perfect games.
That's pretty impressive, since I can't bowl one perfect game. Although to be fair, I also haven't played the game thousands of times.
