Look, I understand we ridicule things that are unfamiliar and strange - that's why I make fun of kids who wear pants with waists down at their knees - but I can't help but be irked when George Will, as reported in GamePolitics.com, says, "Seventy-five percent of American "gamers" -- people who play video games -- are older than 18 and nevertheless are allowed to vote." Will's column, Demon Denim is essentially a long rant of "everything was better when people knew how to dress," but since this isn't a fashion website I won't discuss whether people in suits have ever been responsible for any of society's ills. But I do believe that if gamers weren't allowed to vote, Barack Obama would probably not be president. So I say, let's make proof of ownership of a game console a requirement for voting. Take that, George.

Charles,
I think George Will is a very foolish man for the the article that he wrote but then again taking your last few sentences into consideration maybe it would have been better if gamers didn’t vote. After all we wouldn’t be stuck with Obama.
Political views are, unfortunately, a lot like butt holes. Everybody has one, each one is a little different and if it’s not yours, you’ll swear to God it stinks.
Just because Mr. Will says something, doesn’t make it valid.
