The Wii Remote; Lethal to Pets?

1Up has posted video from Countdown with Keith Olbermann about a woman who whacked her dog in the head with the remote while playing Wii Bowling. The story is headlined, Woman Kills Dog With Wii Remote, Neighbor Revives It, which could be seen as hyperbole; my feeling is, if you revive something, it wasn't actually dead. But it's a catchy headline.

This makes Wii Bowling sound pretty dangerous. On the other hand, the story probably would have turned out worse if this had happened in an actual bowling alley with a real bowling ball.
